Amelia Carolla

Ms. Carolla concentrates her practice on commercial and business litigation and education-related matters.

Professional Experience:  Amelia Carolla is a Partner in the Haddonfield, New Jersey law firm of Reisman Carolla Gran LLP. Her practice concentrates on representation of parents and children in education-related matters, guardianships, small business and commercial disputes.

Prior to forming Reisman Carolla Gran LLP, Ms. Carolla was at attorney with the Philadelphia law firm of Montgomery McCracken, where she co-chaired its Special Education Law Practice Group. She also handled complex commercial litigation for publicly and privately held companies. Ms. Carolla served as a law clerk for the Honorable Charles M. Rand of the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey and was an associate at Flaster Greenberg in Cherry Hill, where her practice was devoted to complex commercial litigation.

Ms. Carolla was an adjunct professor at Temple University School of Law, teaching a course annually on Special Education Law. She was also named by SJ Magazine as a "Top 2010 Attorney" in the area of School/Special Education Law.

Community Associations:  Ms. Carolla served on the Board of Directors of the Good Looking Foundation, a Voorhees-based nonprofit organization established to promote and support the fight against autism in South Jersey. She is the past Chair of the Southern New Jersey Early Intervention Collaborative, a nonprofit organization that coordinates early intervention services for children with special needs who are three years or younger.

Admitted to Practice:  Ms. Carolla is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.

Education:  Ms. Carolla received her J.D. degree from Rutgers University School of Law at Camden in 1995 where she was an Editor of the Rutgers Law Journal. She earned a B.A. degree from Rutgers College in 1992, where she majored in English and Political Science.
